Hometown Books & Yarn grew out of our love for books, making, and the community we call home. I was born and raised in Woodbury, and my husband, Ralph Bingham, and I wanted to create the kind of place we would love to spend time in ourselves—a warm, welcoming neighborhood shop where people can slow down, browse, make something, and feel at home.

We offer thoughtfully chosen new and affordable used books, along with beautiful yarn and supplies for knitting and crochet. More than anything, we want Hometown to be a place for everyone: a place to discover a wonderful book, find inspiration for your next project, meet a neighbor, or simply linger for a while.

Woodbury is a wonderfully diverse community, and we hope Hometown reflects that spirit—a place where everyone can find something that speaks to them and know they are welcome.
